Oppo has launched its first flagship smartphones of 2022, Oppo Reno 7 and Oppo Reno 7 Pro, in India today. Along with the smartphones, the company also launched its new smartwatch, Oppo Watch Free, in the country. The smart wearable has been listed on the company’s website for quite some time now. The Oppo Watch Free was launched in China in September last year. The smartwatch features a 1.64-inch AMOLED display along with optical heart rate tracker and SpO2 monitor. It is the company’s second smartwatch in India after the Oppo Watch that was launched in 2020.
Oppo Watch Free: Price
The company has priced the Oppo Watch Free at Rs 5,999. Although the wearable is available in two colour options in the Chinese market – Quick Sand Gold and Silent Night Black, in India the Oppo Watch Free will be available only in Classic Black colour. Oppo has not yet revealed when the smartwatch will go on sale in India.
Oppo Watch Free specifications
Oppo Watch Free comes with a 1.64-inch AMOLED display with 280×456 pixel resolution. The smartwatch comes with a 2.5D curved glass display. The wearable offers more than 100 sports modes and it features a heart rate monitor and a blood oxygen SpO2 sensor.
The smartwatch comes with health tracking features which include sleep monitoring, snoring monitor and daily activity. It also comes with more than 100 watch faces. The wearable comes with a water-resistant design and six-axis motion sensor and ambient light sensor.
Oppo Watch Free comes with e-sports mode that diverts all notifications from the smartphone. The device is backed by a 230mAh battery which promises to deliver 14 hours of battery life on a single charge.
