Garmin Malaysia has launched its latest Approach S42 GPS golf smartwatch. Let’s take a look at what it has to offer.
The Approach S42 boasts a sleek 1.2-inch color touchscreen display, built-in high-sensitivity GPS that pinpoints users’ location, as well a battery life of up to 15 hours in GPS mode and up to 10 days in smartwatch mode.
Packed with over 42,000 preloaded golf courses, the smartwatch also comes with other features such as the AutoShot round analyzer which tracks and records shot distances, and the Green View feature which examines each green’s true shape and moves the pin for improved yardage accuracy.
Just like many other Garmin smartwatches, it also offers built-in sports profiles and activity-tracking features like steps, sleep, calories, etc.
Additionally, users can participate in weekly leaderboards or tournaments and also check out live scoring and strokes gained analysis via the Garmin Golf app.

The Approach S42 smartwatch with Black/White color options is currently available at a price of RM1,480 via Garmin’s official store on Shopee, Lazada, and AECO e-store, as well as all its Brand Stores and authorized retailers.
