Fitbit to address divisive Sense and Versa 3 feature with upcoming Sense 2 and Versa 4 smartwatches – Notebookcheck.net

Additionally, Fitbit has revised the rear of the Sense 2 compared to its predecessor. As one image shows, the Sense 2 has two raised arcs on its rear panel, not the large ‘biosensor core’ in the original Sense. At this stage, it is unclear whether this change merely improves upon the Sense or is a sign that the Sense 2 has a completely new set of sensors. Predictably, the Sense 2 will support ECG, GPS and 5 ATM water resistance.

By contrast, the Versa 4 will not be capable of taking ECGs or measuring body temperature. Instead, the Versa 4 will offer 5 ATM water resistance and GPS. 9to5Google adds that the Versa 4 will support Google Assistant, plus magnetic charging like the Sense 2. Sadly, it remains to be seen when Fitbit will launch either smartwatch, for the time being.
