Realme sub-brand DIZO has introduced the Watch D Sharp, a smartwatch that follows in the footsteps of the DIZO Watch D. Available in three colours, the DIZO Watch D Sharp has a 1.75-inch display, 5 ATM waterproofing, up to 14 days of battery life and smart controls, among other features.

Last month, DIZO presented the Watch D, a smartwatch with a 1.8-inch display that retailed for INR 2,999 (US$38). This month, the company has unveiled the Watch D Sharp, which also sells for INR 2,999 (US$38). While the Watch D and Watch D Sharp look similar, the latter is smaller than the former. Specifically, the Watch D Sharp has a 1.75-inch display that operates at 320 x 390 pixels with up to 550 nits of peak brightness.

Additionally, DIZO states that the smartwatch relies on a ‘hybrid material frame’ that blends metal and polycarbonate. Unfortunately, DIZO does not provide any further information about the Watch D Sharp’s case material. Still, the company has included one physical button, plus replaceable watch straps and a display that blends into its chassis. Moreover, the Watch D Sharp ships with over 110 sports modes and 150 watch faces. Although DIZO boasts of 5 ATM waterproofing, a heart rate monitor and SpO2 tracking, the Watch D Sharp does not feature a GPS module.

Instead, the smartwatch receives GPS information from a paired smartphone via the DIZO app. Furthermore, the smartwatch can perform some ‘smart controls’ when paired with a smartphone, such as controlling music playback, acting as a camera shutton button and declining a call with a message. Currently, the DIZO Watch D Sharp is orderable in India in Classic Black, Deep Blue and Silver Grey colour options. Neither DIZO nor Realme have confirmed whether the Watch D Sharp will be available in other markets yet.
