I have a GW3 Titanium and I think I could answer to your question, for me it’s not money wise, it’s about functionnality, which a ‘regular’ watch simply lacks. And when bands could have good audio quality (even though I didn’t need RN since it was used in car and now have integrated BT), I think I will more from a watch with a band that has the features that I want, mainly for battery efficiency, GW3 needs to be recharged every 2 days, GW4 was worse and sent back πŸ˜›

And yet, WearOS was nice but not ‘on point’ at the moment imo πŸ™‚

If I really wanted I would rather buy a Fitbit or Garmin just for activity tracking.
I don’t understand the appeal of the 25k+ smartwatches tbh (let alone apple watches), when one could get a way better (imho) mechanical watch for similar money (a shame we dont get the MoonSwatch here thoπŸ˜₯, I was willing to buy one)
However, the smartwatches under 10k at least do make some sense and are worth buying I guess
